Global Message – Autonomic Nervous System Care for Mental Health

🌐 Message to Health Ministries, Mental Health Institutions, and Academic Researchers Worldwide

Without Autonomic Nervous System Treatment, Mental Health Cannot Truly Be Addressed

Mental health care around the world continues to evolve through medication, psychotherapy, and other approaches. Yet, the number of individuals suffering from mental health issues is not decreasing.

From years of clinical experience in Japan, we have come to a strong conclusion:

Without addressing the autonomic nervous system, we cannot reduce the number of mental health patients.

The autonomic nervous system plays a central role in emotional regulation, stress response, and internal balance. When this system becomes dysfunctional, even minor challenges can feel overwhelming—a person may no longer be able to overcome issues they could normally handle.

If emotional regulation—through the autonomic nervous system—is not functioning properly, a person may lose the ability to overcome even manageable life events.

Neck-Centered Autonomic Nervous System Regulation: Our Clinical Approach

At Relaxspace Refine Tokyo, we have developed a reproducible and non-invasive method for regulating autonomic function through cervical (neck) adjustment.

This approach has shown clear improvements in individuals with:

  • Panic attacks
  • Sleep disturbances, fatigue, and emotional instability
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Mental health symptoms associated with thyroid dysfunction

We believe that these clinical outcomes point to a vital missing link in mainstream mental health care—the body’s role in emotional recovery.

Why We Are Reaching Beyond Japan

In Japan, strict laws prohibit non-medical facilities from stating that they can “treat” or “cure” health conditions. Even when a method proves effective in practice, it cannot be publicly promoted unless it comes from a licensed medical institution.

This creates a difficult situation where valuable physical approaches—especially those involving the autonomic nervous system—cannot be openly shared or recognized.

If something truly works, it should not be confined by borders—it should be shared with the world.

That is why we are stepping beyond our home country, reaching out to international partners who are open to innovation and integrated care.

Let’s Work Together

We are seeking collaboration with:

  • Health ministries and public health departments
  • Mental health support institutions
  • Universities and research organizations in psychosomatic medicine and neuroscience

If your organization is interested in:

  • Joint research
  • Pilot clinical programs
  • Preventive mental health initiatives
  • Workshops or skill-sharing programs

We warmly invite you to contact us.

Together, we can explore new pathways toward sustainable, body-based mental health care—and bring meaningful change to communities worldwide.
